A resolution has been approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors. The Board committed to 38 measures of the Maricopa Association of Governments' (MAG) Five Percent Plan, designed to reduce PM 10 emissions by five percent per year until the EPA standard is met.
Dust Control at construction sites has been one of the issues on the agenda. With more than double the number of inspectors in the field there will be a lot more inspections of construction sites. This could relate to added expense for construction companies especially home builders that build out large subdivisions.
